Benoît Guénette is a Montreal-based photographer specializing in the creation of fine art photographs and unframed prints for people who want to decorate their home or workspace with evocative and inspiring images.

For over forty years, photography has accompanied his gaze upon the world. His first images, captured in his teens with a Kodak Instamatic Trimlite 18, already reflected a desire to seize an atmosphere, a light, or a suspended moment. This initial impulse remained discreet until the early 2000s, when a Canon EOS Rebel and a renewed appetite for travel rekindled his practice.

For over twenty years, Benoît has traveled to different countries seeking to capture the essence of a moment: the unique color of a landscape, the silent presence of a monument, or the understated beauty of a scene he has had the privilege of witnessing. His work is part of a fine art approach where each image becomes a fragment of a journey, a subtle trace that invites us to feel, to remember, or to dream.
